JTT Travel team Overview  

USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is appropriate for boys and girls, ages 11-18 years. who have the basic skills and are interested in competition.

JTT offers players a chance to play competitive matches in a non-threatening "team" format.

JTT competition is the best avenue for refining skills,  learning team play, and developing good sportsmanship!

18 & Under competitive tennis practices & Matches (Intermediate/Advanced) 

This is a great opportunity for high school players to get together with their friends and enjoy six weeks of competitive tennis practices and matches over the course of the summer. Players are grouped according to skill level and will be moved up as they progress.

2024 SCHEDULE & FEES

Practices 6-7:30 P.M. on Tuesday nights
and team matches 6-7:30 P.M. on Thursday nights.

Dates: Begins 6/25 and ends on 8/29 (It's ok to miss some sessions - family events take precedence!)

Rich Butler, our long-time JTT coach, has retired from group lessons. He is still available for privates or small privately arranged clinics. CONTACT US with a brief note to assist with arrangements. A combination of private and group lessons is the best way to develop your skills and mental toughness!

Richard Butler, USPTA, has been teaching tennis in Berkshire County for 23 years.  His tennis career has included coaching Varsity tennis at Miss Halls School, teaching privately and as a member of the tennis staff at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Bousquet Sport in Pittsfield and the Country Club of Pittsfield.  For the past 8 years he has coached and taught tennis for the Lee CTA at Greenock Country Club and Lee High School.  With a background in health and wellness, Richard is passionate about promoting fun, lifelong activities that keep people active and engaged.  His full time career is as the Wellness Coordinator for the Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield.
